Europe's Top Drawing & Coloring Apps in Q1 2021: A Sensor Tower Analysis

In the first quarter of 2021, Europe witnessed varying performance trends among the top drawing and coloring applications on the unified iOS and Android platforms. Here's a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.

Phone Case DIY by Crazy Labs kicked off the quarter with downloads peaking at 2.2M in mid-January before gradually declining to around 596K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at a high of 3.8M in late January and tapering off to 1.9M by the quarter's close.

Pixel Art － Color by Number by Easybrain also experienced a high in January with downloads around 453K, which then decreased to 381K by the end of March. Revenue remained relatively stable with minor fluctuations, ranging from approximately $27K to $19K weekly. Active users showcased resilience, with an initial 3.1M decreasing slightly to 3.4M in the final week of March.

X-Flow's Happy Color® Art Coloring Book saw downloads start at 349K and dip to 221K by March end. Although weekly revenue showed a downward trend from $6.5K to $3.8K, the app maintained a strong user base with weekly active users hovering around 4M throughout the quarter.

Paint by Number Coloring Game by Oakever Games observed downloads beginning at 297K and decreasing to 228K, with an active user count starting at 2.4M and ending at 2.3M. Revenue for this app exhibited a slight upward trend in late March, ending at around $5.2K.

Lastly, Lion Studios' Silhouette Art experienced a sharp download decline from 732K at the start of the quarter to 125K by its end. Active users followed suit, dropping from over 1M to just under 238K. Revenue, however, showed an increase in the final weeks, peaking at $426.
